Who can I bring along?

 

Q: Can I bring along a spouse or caregiver? A: We encourage the patient to bring family members with them. The healing process is better when they have someone to support them. Success Rate?

Q: How much success has Dr. Steenblock had with these problems? A: We note that 95%of our patients see progress!

Problems Treated?
Q: What specific problems are treated at the Clinic? A: The clinic specializes in “Personalized Regenerative Medicine and Personalized Regenerative Therapies” for patients with a history of Stroke, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, (TBI) traumatic brain injury, dementia, Alzheimer’s,  Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, chronic encephalitis, etc. However, all of these patients often also have cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, non-healing wounds, infections of all types, joint and back problems, intestinal and lung problems and these are also treated with the latest in personalized regenerative therapies. We treat very unusual and difficult cases as well as the most common. Most of our patients were told there is nothing more that could be done for them, that is until they come to see Dr. Steenblock. Extent of Visit?
Q: How many days do I need to be in the area to come to the Clinic? A: With stroke patients, 60 days is the norm. All other treatments vary anywhere from one day to one month.

My Doctor’s Follow Up?
Q: When I return home or to my own doctor, how can my own doctor typically follow up with me?

A: Patients can take all of their test results with them. We also can do followup calls/visits with Dr. Steenblock.

Transportation and Meals
Q: When I’m there (from out of town) how do patients take care of transportation and meals?

A: Most patients rent cars or use their hotel shuttle. Most also pack lunches to bring to the clinic to have while undergoing their therapies. The clinic also provides lunch quite often for the patients and usually has snacks throughout the day for patients and caregivers.

A: The clinic is located in Mission Viejo, California, which lies approximately half way up the coast between San Diego and Los Angeles. We are approximately 5 miles from the ocean. Our exact address is 26381 Crown Valley Pkwy., Suite 130, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.

Personal schedule?
Q: What would a typical schedule be for me if I came for treatment?

A: First you would have your consultation with Dr. Steenblock. Typically at that time he would order any tests he needs to help him help you. This includes blood tests, urine tests, etc. Depending upon your needs, you may be started immediately on hyperbaric oxygen or EECP or chelation. You will be given a complete schedule for return visits before you leave that day. Someone taking hyperbaric oxygen, for example, might return daily for one hour for their treatments.

Appointments
Q: How much time ahead of coming to the Clinic do I need to make the appointment? A: Two weeks is best.
Insurance
Q: Will my insurance cover my treatment? A: Some insurances will cover some of the diagnostic tests, like blood or urine tests. Because of the very specialized nature of the therapies given, insurance companies haven’t accepted the non-drug, non-surgery methods used at Dr. Steenblock’s Clinic, and typically do not cover them. The Clinic operates on a “cash” basis whether insurance will ultimately cover or not.

Q: How many doctors work at the Clinic? A: There is one doctor at the clinic, Dr. David Steenblock.

Medications
Q: Will I be taken off my medications? A: This is something that will be decided by Dr. Steenblock. Typically, if the medication is helping you, you will not be taken off. If a medication is hindering your healing or hurting you, you would be taken off if possible.

Need to bring?
Q: What do I need to bring with me? A: Comfortable clothes. Bring any recent tests you’ve had done (within the last 6 months to a year). Bring a cell phone to communicate with your companion and us. You may need to rent a car.

Q: How is Dr. Steenblock and his methods different from my own physician? A: Typically Dr. Steenblock delves far more deeply into diagnosing your condition than other doctors. Also, Dr. Steenblock specializes in Personalized Regenerative Medicine , which is the multi-step process of healing specifically tailored to the individual. Aged, diseased or damaged tissues are cleansed of cellular debris, toxins and other harmful agents.
